Contender Boats, a leader in Florida conservation, has donated this new Contender 22 Sport, where performance is combined with affordability and simplicity. Winner can choose instead to receive $50,000 in cash.

Backwoods Python Hunt (1 prize)

Grab three friends and tag along with an experienced python hunter. Get off the beaten paths and hunt for destructive, invasive Burmese pythons in the woods and wetlands of south Florida with an expert. The scheduling of the experience will depend on the availability for FWC staff and the weather. Weather conditions greatly affect chance of success, so your flexibility is appreciated.

Airboat Alligator Survey (1 prize)

Join alligator management biologists and scientists from FWC’s Hunting and Game Management and Fish and Wildlife Research Institute for a night of counting alligators on Lake Okeechobee. You and a friend will experience first-hand how FWC staff size and count alligators while swiftly navigating through various open water and marsh habitats with just a spot-light

and a Tablet PC to record what’s observed. By the end of this trip, you will learn about how important this data is for monitoring alligator population trends and setting and adjusting harvest quotas to ensure Florida’s state reptile is here for future generations to enjoy.

FAQs​

The Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida (FWFF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit is conducting this raffle in partnership with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

To obtain tickets, click the button earlier on this page. You can use credit card, PayPal, or mail in a check with your phone number and email address. If you wish to obtain a ticket without making a donation, follow the instructions listed above for obtaining a ticket by mail.

The suggested donation for raffle tickets are $20 each, three for $50, or 10 for $100.

Each participant may obtain up to 100 tickets.

This raffle does not use physical tickets or ticket numbers; you will be entered electronically. As soon as you complete your ticket order, you will receive an email confirming your entry. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please be sure to check your spam or junk folders or contact us at [email protected].

There is no limit on the number of tickets available.

The odds of winning a raffle prize depends on the total number of entries.

Ticket Entry Deadline for both online and mailed tickets to be received: Monday, December 26, 2022 at 11:59am EST
Drawing: Friday, December 30, 2022 at noon EST.

Winners will be contacted via email and posted on the website within 24 hours of the drawing.

No. There is only one drawing. Every ticket distributed will be eligible for all of the prizes.

Yes. If you obtain more than one ticket, you are eligible to win more than one prize. Each ticket is assigned a unique identification number and every remaining ticket number is eligible to be drawn after the previous winning number is drawn.

A cash gift for $50,000 can be obtained in lieu of the Contender 22 Sport. Out of state winners are not eligible for the licenses and will be awarded their cash equivalent. Please see rules for more information.

You will be offered the fair market value in cash.

FWFF staff will contact each winner beginning with the first number drawn in order to make the prize selection. Prize selection must occur via reply e-mail to FWFF’s e-mail notification. If the winner does not reply within 14 days of being sent an email notification of having won, they will be disqualified.

All prize winners must abide by the rules and regulations established by FWFF and FWC. The winner must possess all applicable licenses and/or permits to legally participate in the hunts.
