Florida Grasshopper Sparrow Fund

There may be fewer than 100 Florida Grasshopper Sparrows in the wild or captivity. They have been beset by loss of grassland habitat, predation and disease. Our Foundation is working with FWC, the U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service, White Oak Plantation and others to prevent the extinction of the continental United States’ rarest bird.
