Dr. Tracy Baker, MD

Board Member Spotlight

Dr. Baker was born and raised in South Florida and attended Columbus High School in Miami. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Tulane University in 1981. He went on to medical school and completed his training in general surgery in New York City, where he served as chief resident in 1991. He continued to Harvard Medical School, where he completed his training in plastic surgery, serving as chief resident at Harvard’s Beth Israel Hospital in 1993, and became board-certified in both general and plastic surgery. He has authored or coauthored dozens of scientific articles, chapters and textbooks in his field.

As a Florida native, Dr. Baker gained his love and respect of the outdoors at a very young age, boating, fishing, sailing, diving and exploring the endless opportunities of the waters of our great state. He was a competitive captain in the South Florida sail fishing tournament circuit for more than a decade. He remains an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fly fishing, bird hunting and bow hunting. He is passionate about preserving and restoring habitat for future generations and youth involvement in the outdoors.

Dr. Baker and his wife and partner, Dr. Jackie Yee, established Baker Plastic Surgery in 2002, and it remains one of the most recognized and prestigious plastic surgery practices in the country.
