The Great Florida Outdoors Raffle

The Great Florida Outdoors Raffle is officially underway! Support Florida conservation while entering your chance to win one of 25 prizes. Proceeds will benefit species like the Florida panther, manatees, and corals, as well as increase access to wild Florida for hunters, anglers, and other conservationists. Check out our prizes below.

Grand Prize

You know what they say: if your ship doesn’t come in, swim out and meet it. Or just enter our raffle and win your very own Contender 22 Sport Fishing Boat! Ideal for the angler or boater who wants to outpace all other boats in this class, the Contender 22 Sport includes a custom trailer and Yamaha F250 outboard.

Backwoods Python Hunt

Pair the thrill of the hunt with helping to control an invasive species. The backwoods python hunt is a guided hunt through the woods and wetlands of south Florida. You’ll be accompanied by FWC experts (and three friends of your choosing) to remove destructive, invasive Burmese pythons. Learn more about pythons in south Florida here

Rods & Reels

For the true Florida anglers, picture yourself casting a brand new Gator Trout Inshore Rod and Banshee Reel, courtesy of the Coastal Conservation Association. Three sets are available and ready for your next big day on the water.

Lifetime Gold Sportsman’s Licenses

Never worry about whether your fishing or hunting licenses are up-to-date again. Five Lifetime Gold Sportsman’s Licenses are available to win with each raffle entry. The Lifetime Gold Sportsman’s License is valid for Florida hunting, freshwater fishing, and saltwater fishing licenses; and deer, Wildlife Management Area, archery, muzzleloading gun, crossbow, turkey, Florida waterfowl, snook, and lobster permits. Ten Five-Year Resident Gold Sportsman’s Licenses are also available.

Fine Art

Prefer to admire Florida’s wild beauty from indoors? Fill your space with a breathtaking photograph from Alan S. Maltz Gallery or print by Kim Donaldson. View each here.

Experiences

Do you dream of being a sharpshooter or looking for a fun activity outside for you and three of your friends? Learn to shoot sporting clays! FWC will provide a party of up to four people with guns, clays, golf carts, and instruction by a National Sporting Clays Association-certified instructor at the new Palm Beach Shooting Sports Complex, one of the finest facilities of its kind in the nation.

Searching for more of an adventure? Join FWC’s Hunting and Game Management and Fish and Wildlife Research Institute for a night of counting alligators on Lake Okeechobee on an airboat alligator survey. You and a friend will experience first-hand how FWC staff size and count alligators while swiftly navigating through the open water and marsh habitats with just a spot-light and a tablet PC to record what’s observed. By the end of this trip, you will learn how important this data is for monitoring alligator population trends and setting and adjusting harvest quotas to ensure Florida’s state reptile is here for future generations to enjoy.

Choose your own adventure instead: Join an FWC biologist for a biologist for a day experience. One winner will get to attend a day of electrofishing the Homosassa, juvenile goliath grouper tagging in St. Lucie, Suwannee River snook sampling, or seine fishing the Loxahatchee River.

Full rules, information on how to enter, and additional prize descriptions can be found on our Raffle page. The drawing will take place on Friday, December 30th, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. EST. Good luck and happy raffling!
