Foundation Event Raises $900,000 for Everglades Kid’s Camp

At the Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida’s Campfire Concert on Friday, March 29th, the south Florida community opened their wallets for the Everglades Youth Conservation Camp. Attendees united to raise more than $900,000.

The concert at Jupiter’s Pelican Club featured performances from country music sensations Chris Janson and Ricky Young. Laura Russell, Tucker Frederickson, John Lacy, and Josh Kellam co-chaired the sold-out event.

Dressed in denim and diamonds, guests also enjoyed dinner and a live auction of exclusive items. Donors received a plush Florida black bear for their commitment to conserve wild Florida for future generations. The night ended with a social hour on the Pelican Club’s deck, where guests enjoyed campfire s’mores and waterfront views of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.
