Ed Burr

Ed Burr is Chairman and CEO of GreenPointe Holdings and a leader in the real estate industry. Prior to leading GreenPointe, he founded the LandMar Group in 1987 and led the company’s creation of master-planned, award-winning communities in Florida and coastal Georgia. His career started as a CPA with Coopers & Lybrand in Miami and New York. With former PGA of America President M.G. Orend,er he formed Hampton Golf & Lifestyles Management to develop and manage golf courses and community recreational facilities across the country.

Burr has served on the Board of the Florida Council of 100 and is a former Chair of the Florida State University Board of Trustees. He previously served as Chair of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, JAX Chamber, Jacksonville Civic Council, and Jacksonville Country Day School. He founded The Monique Burr Foundation for Children, Inc. (MBF) in 1997 to continue the work of his late wife, Monique Burr, a devoted child advocate. MBF is dedicated to providing the best prevention education programs to protect children and teens from victimization. MBF programs have reached more than 11 million children throughout the United States and abroad.

Burr’s recent honors include the 2022 Ultimate CEO Award, the 2021 Hearthstone Humanitarian Award, FSU Alumni Association’s 2021 Bernard F. Sliger Award, and the Urban Land Institute’s North Florida Visionary Leader Award.
