J.P. Urban is a seasoned project management professional who specialized in overseeing compliant operations for multimillion-dollar, federally-funded, international development projects, including biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services programming throughout sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master’s degree from Columbia University. Having seen firsthand the positive impact conservation programs have on communities, he is eager to now work toward conserving wild Florida. As a newly minted Floridian based in Tallahassee, he is excited to get to work exploring the rich outdoor opportunities that Florida provides.
