Dear Dani,
Summer always takes me back to my childhood: muddy hikes, s’mores, and catching tadpoles at camp. Those early adventures sparked my love for the outdoors and set me on a path to care about conservation. Now that I’m older (and a little less muddy), I want to help the next generation fall in love with wild Florida the way I did. How can I do that through my giving?
—Nostalgic Camper, Ocala, FL
Dear Nostalgic Camper,
You’ve just described my kind of summer. Those early moments in nature have a way of sticking with us, don’t they?
If you’re looking to pass that spark along, planned giving is a powerful way to help kids across Florida build their own lifelong love of the outdoors. Our Foundation’s “Getting Kids Back to Nature” initiative is all about giving young people hands-on experiences in wild Florida by fishing, kayaking, learning about wildlife, and yes, probably getting a little muddy, too.
Including the Foundation in your will, retirement account, or as a life insurance beneficiary can ensure your legacy supports these outdoor programs for years to come. It’s a way to say, “Hey, future camper, this one’s for you.”
Whether your love for nature started around a campfire or on a quiet walk in the woods, your gift can help the next generation experience those same unforgettable moments.
Warmly,
Dani
